Have you ever felt heavy, bloated, tired, hungover?
Well we probably all have at one time or another in our life.
What I do is every Monday I treat myself to an easy eating day. I make up a big pot of Miso Soup with Veggies and that's all I eat. I still drink unlimited amounts of water.
It is a great detox. It tastes DELICIOUS and can be easily prepared. You can eat as much of it as you like too. I choose Monday as it is the start of a new week and lets face it sometimes we can over indulge on the weekend.
So here is the recipe. Give it a go. You have nothing to lose apart from that heavy, bloated, tired, hungover feeling. and let me know how much you enjoy the Miso soup...........
Miso Soup with Veggies
Ingredients
500ml water
2 sachets of dashi
½ bunch coriander
1 tsp tamari
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp fish sauce
1 carrot, cut into sticks
1 cup Chinese cabbage, shredded
2 tbsp miso paste
1 handful bean sprouts, fresh
Method
Put first 8 ingredients (coriander stems only, finely chopped) in a pot and bring to a simmer. Add vegetables and cook until tender. Turn off heat and stir through the miso paste. Serve in bowls with coriander leaves and bean sprouts.
Added extras
You may include some hard tofu which would be added along with veggies.
Also some Shitake mushrooms that have been soaked in hot water for an hour. Add these with the first 8 ingredients.
